A fun video of our 2012 festival that shows off the spirit of Wolfe Island!
If it rains Friday for the Town Hall concert, Plan B is we will move the concert to the main stage at the Marysville baseball diamond.
Plan ahead! Visit www.mto.gov.on.ca for Wolfe Island ferry schedule.
The Ministry of Transportation is encouraging those who will be attending the Wolfe Island Festival on August 10 and 11 2012 to consider walking on the ferry as opposed to taking their vehicles. This will help eliminate the queues and wait times to get on the ferry. The festival is only 2 blocks from the ferry terminal on the island. Walking on will help passengers reach their event or destination on time.
Carpooling and public transit are also great options to help decrease the number of vehicles trying to get to the island.
Wolfe Island Ferry capacity: 294 individuals and 55 vehicles per trip
New this year – boarding tickets:
On Saturday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. make sure to pick-up your free “boarding ticket” on the west side of the Barrack Street Terminal before getting on the Wolfe Island Ferry. You will not be able to board without the ticket. One ticket is valid for one ride only. This system will be in place for this Saturday only and only on the Kingston side (Barrack Street)! The ticket system will help with the flow of traffic and walk-ons.
Please note that the Wolfe Island Ferry’s capacity of 294 passengers includes the total amount of individuals on the boat including those in the cars.
We’re sorry to announce that July Talk are no longer able to play this year’s festival. Hooded Fang are now on board and we’re excited they were able to come and play for us all.
Sam Roberts Band set to headline the festival which takes place on August 10th and 11th.
Kingston — The fine folks at the Wolfe Island Music Festival have done it again. The 2012 edition of the festival will take place on August 10th and 11th and boasts their strongest line-up to date.
