Wolfe Island Music Festival 2018

Camping / Accomodations

[Camping tents]Welcome to the Wolfe Island Music Festival camping area! Check in for camping is on Friday at noon and will be located at the end of Division Street. Campers will be able to pick up their festival bracelet at this location. Please check in and get your bracelets BEFORE setting up your camping site.

The WOLFE ISLAND MUSICFEST is located on the community centre grounds adjacent to the festival site. It is pretty nice to not have to hike 1/2 a kilometre to the site. But with this convience there are some rules we have to impose on everyone. The Campground is adjacent to the full time residents who have been kind enough to let us have campers but we must keep their generosity going by not making them mad by having Campfires, amplified music and especially no drum circles! (we are not that kind of festival anyways :) Please bring potable water, toilet paper (you never know when there is an emergency), bug spray, sun block, munchies, and a sleeping bag or good blanket as it can get chilly at night. PLEASE do not litter! We will have stations around the site for litter and recycling. Please us them! There are no showers on site but we are two blocks away from the lake. Wolfe Island is a remote island, we do not have 24 hour convenience stores and no Pizza Pizza for late night delivery, so think about this when you are packing for your trip. Coolers are permitted but not on the festival site, just the camping site. ATTENTION If alcohol is brought to the festival site it will be confiscated. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Leashed dogs permitted.

Wolfe Island is indeed an island, the ferry from the island back to Kingston stops running at 1:20 am, so its best that you have a plan to stay on the island or make sure you make the last ferry. In addition to festival camping, Wolfe Island also has some beautiful hotels, bed and breakfasts and cottages. They do book up fast however, so book your room right away.
